Upon attentively listening to the memberships voice, it is clear to the secretary that effective solutions to growing pains are in order. Drafted here are some considerations for resolves, also sporn of the memberships voice. Over all we need to establish a mission statement to encompass our social status as a benefit to the better public interest, for the youth and aged, the fortunate or not.

1. Community awareness is paramount given the clubs sympathies regarding our neighbors. Also, as per Article 1.4. of the constitution, the Club is to “encourage and promote”, therefore this is what we should do. This may be done on several levels as detailed herein.

2. When it comes to the development of the communities youth, we’re all smart enough to comprehend the theory of idle hands, however, what of those troubled situations requiring an outlet, focus, or distraction. These criterion I’m sure are bountiful at our local Children’s Aid Societies. Let us approach the local chapters as follows.

3. Boy / Girl Scouts... “I promise to do my best to honour and serve God, The Queen, my Country and Fellow Man”. “Be prepared” . Both are very powerful statements to live by. Suppose some of these young people were avionically inclined, would they not be welcomed additions to the membership. Would they not make good friends for another who is perhaps a little more challenged as denoted through out.

4. Big Brothers / Sisters, probably has the largest volume of potential friends to add among not only our population, but like wise as loyal allies in the youth factor.

5. Show and Tell would be the ultimate catalyst to launch our presence into the young minds within our scope. Let us cordially invite the social groups of mention to our show and tells, or any other function for that matter.

6. Much has been communicated in the area of an alternate field with little resolve. One however, must consider communal potential. Apart from placing an ad in the local rag, please comprehend the reach of the hands, minds, and the words of those parties and avenues listed on this page.

7. The all mighty network. Before us are the focal points. Lets Go Get It!!! Which of the organizations have pin up boards in their office or lobby... great place to put the news letter if deemed acceptable. Could arrangements be made to add the selected groups or their offices, to our mailing list for their bulletin boards? Should the schools be blitzed for extra curricular involvement’s or possible zero maintenance flight areas ?

8. Web Presence can not be overlooked. Most every group mentioned in this note have a home page. That translates into potentially reaching every soul that goes to any given web sight listed, provided a rapport can be established allowing us to network our links. For this reason our current news letters ought to be displayed along with an application form, the constitution, and a current flight field diagram.

The Secretary wishes to propose a contest in order to decree the mission statement democratically.
