A Rough Draft

Simple pulley fastened on grade level, men equaling weight of rock to be toted.
Men  and or sand are the counter balance, like the scales of justice.
Straight up the side of pyramid which is slicked with sledge , a mix of limestone cutting and water.
The rock to be placed reaches top and is removed.
Men on bottom then get off counter balance tray.

To cut the rock.... copper tools were found, not strong enough to cut stone but plant material yes, so...
a slooth  first mounted atop the sands was used,,, then later on when sufficient height is attained the slooth is put on the side of pyramid itself to centralize forces.
Workers returning to top for next counter balance trip take water to top of slooth on way up. (Muscle is heavyer than fat)
Sledge is used for slickening (greasing) pyramid side coming from cutting slooth dabree.
If man not heavy or strong enough then the use oxen may have been employed for a ski lift type apparatus, in order to transport water and sand to the top.
There is a channel of stone recently found,,, for water resiviour?
That's the answer i tell ya.

Skid marks appear down the center of the flat surface which are visable from a certain angle, along with slight indentation on all four corners, sides I should say.
Four teams, one on each side,,, opposite sides could be tied in together so to combat the others of gravity forces.
Counter balance skids may be fasioned like a set of stairs for workers to sit on for personal safty and stability on the way down, aswell to secure sand bags or water on way up. Skids may also have had  wheels styled similar to the Flintstone's car.
